Limited Warranty

This warranty is provided in compliance with EU consumer protection laws and does not affect the Client’s statutory rights under applicable legislation, including but not limited to Directive (EU) 2019/771.


Warranty Duration

The warranty period is 24 months from the date of purchase. During this period, Ezbuy Ltd guarantees that the product is free from defects in manufacturing, materials, design, and workmanship.

If the product is replaced or repaired, the warranty period will continue for the remaining duration of the original 24-month period from the date of the purchase invoice.


Client Rights Under EU Law

In the event of a defect, the Client is entitled to the following remedies free of charge:

  • Repair: The defective product will be repaired to restore it to working condition.
  • Replacement: If repair is not feasible, the product will be replaced.
  • Price Reduction or Refund: If repair or replacement is not possible within a reasonable time, the Client may request a price reduction or a full refund.

These remedies are available if the defect becomes apparent within 24 months of purchase and the Client notifies Ezbuy Ltd within a reasonable period (not exceeding 2 months) from the time the defect was discovered.


Refund and Exchange Policy

  • All sales of mobile phones, smartwatches, and tablets are final. Refunds or exchanges will not be issued for non-defective items.
  • For defective products, remedies will be provided under the warranty in accordance with EU law, including repair, replacement, or refund if repair or replacement is not feasible.

Scope of the Warranty

Ezbuy Ltd will repair or replace defective parts, including major components such as the product’s engine or chipset. Any replaced parts will become the property of Ezbuy Ltd.


Exclusions from Warranty

This warranty does not cover:

  1. Normal Wear and Tear: Damage due to regular usage.
  2. Improper Use: Defects caused by failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
  3. Environmental Damage: Damage due to humidity, extreme temperatures, corrosion, or natural disasters.
  4. Unauthorized Repairs: Repairs performed by non-authorized technicians or with non-approved parts.
  5. Altered Identifiers: Products with removed, altered, or illegible serial numbers, IMEI codes, or date codes.
  6. Software Issues: Problems caused by unauthorized software modifications, viruses, or files installed by the user.
  7. Compatibility Issues: Defects caused by connecting the product to incompatible devices or networks.
  8. Consumables: Wear and tear on consumable components, such as batteries or accessories, unless caused by a manufacturing defect.

Client Obligations

To claim warranty service, the Client must:

  1. Provide the original purchase receipt or proof of purchase.
  2. Notify Ezbuy Ltd of the defect within a reasonable period (not exceeding 1 week).
  3. Deliver the product to an authorized service center or Ezbuy Ltd point of sale.

Handling of Out-of-Warranty Products

If a product is out of warranty, Ezbuy Ltd will provide a cost estimate for repairs. Repairs costing €45 or less (including VAT) may be performed without prior approval unless the Client specifically requests otherwise.


Limitations of Liability

  1. Ezbuy Ltd is not responsible for:
    • Loss of personal data during repairs.
    • Data loss resulting from product defects or user error.
  2. This warranty does not cover water damage.

Uncollected Products

If a product delivered for repair is not collected within six months, Ezbuy Ltd will not be liable for its safekeeping.


Statutory Rights

This warranty operates in addition to the Client’s statutory rights under EU law. For example, defects that occur within the first 12 months are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise.


Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the Client may seek resolution through the European Consumer Centre Network (ECC-Net) or other relevant authorities as per Directive (EU) 524/2013.


Final Terms

This warranty may not be modified without the prior written consent of Ezbuy Ltd.
